Notes on the Brig Black Prince.

In March 1890 she foundered after being in a collision with SS Albert off Skinningrove en route from Hartlepool to Portsmouth, She was carrying a cargo of coal.
The master RK Dixon and crew of 9 were rescued. She was then owned by RK Smith of Robin Hood Bay

Annie Robinson was one of the main movers responsible for setting up the Maryport Maritime Museum in 1975 in The Queens Head on the Corner of Senhouse Street and Curzon Street.
