The Bernini Marbles.
It has been established that both sculptures were
commissioned by Cardinal Montoya. The original location was in the sacristy of
the church of San Giacomo degli Spagnuoli, also known as Church of Our Lady of
the Sacred Heart; at the end of the 19th century they were then transferred to
the Spanish Embassy in Rome.
