Spencer Cowper (1669-1728), of Hertingfordbury Park,
Herts.; Lincoln’s Inn; and Bridge House, St. Olave’s, Southwark.
Spencer Cowper d.1727, Judge of the Pleas, the memorial is in a window embrasure on north wall of the church, a black marble cartouche with inscription, above
a scrolled and pedimented surround in black marble, with a relief of Cowper in
judge's robes, seated between the figures of Wisdom and Justice, carved 1752 by
Roubiliac.
