John Buhl (d.1795) Ironmonger and Brazier of 121 St Martin's Lane.

John Buhl was of possibly a Huguenot of French or German extraction receiving his denization /citizenship on 30th July 1778.


In December 1764, Buhl received payment of £6 17s for supplying goods for Lord Leigh at Stoneleigh Abbey.

John Buhl was an Honorary Exhibiter  at the Free Society of Artists exhibition in 1772.

The business was almost certainly continued by his son also John Buhl.
