Notes on the Brig Black Prince.

In March 1890 she foundered after being in a collision with SS Albert off Skinningrove en route from Hartlepool to Portsmouth, She was carrying a cargo of coal.

The master RK Dixon and crew of 9 were rescued. She was then owned by RK Smith of Robin Hood Bay
